I’m a writer who happens to have stumbled onto a story that I believe should be shared, maybe even must be shared if any part of this peculiar story is true…

  1. Hi, thanks for visiting and following my blog. I am intrigued by these found words that may or may not be true, although, in some regards, this is the case for all writing. This is a wonderful endeavour; it’s like finding a message in a bottle.

  2. Thanks for following my blog. I just read the first few pages of this story you’re posting – very intriguing. I’m curious where it’s going to go! Do you know if you’re working with a complete manuscript? or is it going to leave us hanging at some point?

  3. I hear you when you say it was hard for you to define yourself as a writer. I spent ten years in therapy and a lot of medication, and a lot of fights with my parents, to finally define myself as a writer. The book you’ll be reading in the new year is not the first one i’ve written, but its the first public novel I’ve done. I hope you follow through to the ending. And I hope I live up to your expectations.

    • I think its a common bond that we share as writers, the journey towards accepting the truth of it for ourselves and being brave enough to assert it to others. Thank you for your comment and for being so honest with your personal experience. I honestly look forward to reading your novel and am so glad you will be sharing it.

  4. Hello, there.
Thanks for following my blog BOOK MAVEN’S PICKS. I followed you back.
I really like your blog. Reminds me the piles & piles of notes & papers I have around to exorcise the demons, ahem, stories & ideas that I have in my mind.

Looking forward to awesome posts from you. Take care!

    Cheers. πŸ™‚

  6. Thanks for stopping by and deciding to follow. I appreciate it. I liked what you said about ‘choosing to be happy.’ I found the hard way that life is choices, not needs or wants. Choose to be happy, the rest will follow! Cheers ; )

  7. Thanks for stopping by and following me! I’ll have to have a look though your blog, this intrigues me most highly πŸ˜€

  8. Thanks for following my blog! I wish I had time to read all of yours, it seems quite interesting. I shall save it for another day.

  9. Hi, thanks for dropping by and liking my post – though the real credit belongs to the talented Ms Sherman and Mr Bailey. Be sure to check out their great blogs too. Love the idea of a ‘found story’ – an intriguing and novel (no pun…) device. Will check it out. Take care,

  10. Hi! Just stopping by to say THANKS for following ritaLOVEStoWRITE. I hope you find some interesting bioBLOGS in the backlog of bios I’ve done in the past 6 months. You never know who might be in there. Good luck with your story, and keep writing!!!

  11. Hi Sam, thanks so much for coming to my blog. It’s great to get to know you. You write about the “perceived waste of time” in writing. Writing is never a waste of time, but I’m sure you know that, because writing makes you happy. It seems from the number of your followers that you are making others happy, too, and that’s a big part of what writing is about. Good luck and best wishes to you, and I hope you keep writing πŸ™‚

  12. As one of my beloved followers, I would like to extend my sincere thanks and gratitude by sharing with you my exciting news of becoming a newly published author! And, of course, I wanted you to be among the very first to get a chance to read the rest of my debut novel, The Legacy of Blood, now available in e-book format.

(No worries if you don’t have a Kindle or other e-reader device, they have free ones to download on your computer. I went on Amazon and downloaded their “Kindle for PC” absolutely free! Love it! Here’s the link if you need it: http://www.amazon.com/gp/kindle/pc/download .)

Again, I want to thank you kindly for all the support. And you never know, as some of my followers have told me, you could say you’ve had a big hand in helping make Shelby Westland a household name! πŸ˜›
